Good morning! Today is Thursday May 18th which marks G day in our Z to A countdown to the end of the year. Tomorrow is F-day. Fairy tale day- dress up like your favorite character

Congrats Track & Field

Congratulations to the following track and field athletes who had a great meet yesterday at the State Championships. Nymera Presley finished 2nd in the 100 hurdles, 6th in the 100m and 200m dash. Zuriel Reed finished 2nd in the 200m dash and 4th in the 100m dash and Izaiah Lewis-Thompson finished 15th in the 110m hurdles.  


R-Evolution is back!!! Come watch your friends in the Rock Band class perform their favorite hits, live on stage Thursday at 6pm in the PAC. Admission is free, so bring your entourage!   

Robotics Team

Applications for the 2023 – 2024 JV and Varsity Robotics Teams are Open! If you’d like an application, please stop by Ms. Brewster’s room before school, during lunch, or after school to pick one up. No experience is necessary! To get to Ms. Brewster’s room, come to N wing/building and locate the door on the building closest to the maintenance spaces, near the beige dumpster. Applications will be due by the final day of school and notifications will be sent via email and phone.

Senior Week

Seniors – the end is here!  Next week is Senior Week and we have lots planned. 

  • On Monday, return your chromebooks to Blue 1 wing between 9-11 am. Students can pay any debt in the business office during this time. Families are welcome to join us for the picnic, awards, and Wave Walk! Caps and gowns will be distributed after awards. Picnic starts at 11, awards at 12. Wave Walk will follow the awards.
  • On Tuesday, we’ll have water day. Meet at the top field at 10 am with your suit and towel. We’ll provide lunch.
  • On Thursday, report to the Phillips Center for Performing Arts on UF’s campus at 9 am for graduation rehearsal. You must attend rehearsal in order to walk. This is when you will get your tickets to graduation.
  • On Friday, it’s graduation!!

Today will be the last FCA meeting of the school year.  Please join us for an end of the year celebration in the cafeteria right after school.  Snack provided.  Hope to see you at our final Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting!  


Thespians- Get excited for the Thespian Ceremony on Tuesday, May 23rd from 3-4pm in the Theatre. Along with Senior Gifts, and induction there will also be fun Thespian Superlatives! Be sure to get on Canvas and vote for your 22-23 Thespian Superlatives.
