Announcements – Thurs., March 23

March 23, 2023

Good morning! Today is Thursday, March 23rd

From Dr. Geiger:

P.K. Yonge is a school where ALL students are welcome and safe.  The use of racial slurs and other derogatory comments will not be tolerated. Teachers have been advised to report such behavior to Coach Brunson for immediate attention.  One of our 4 Rs is RESPECT.  I expect you to consistently demonstrate respect for others in your actions and with your words.

Calling all poets! Interested in entering a poetry contest? The 13th Annual Alachua County Peach Poetry Contest is due by April 3rd. Winners will receive a prize and have their poems published in the 2023 Peace Poetry Contest Book. For additional information, email vfppeacepoetrycontest@gmail.com

Please pause for a moment of silence:

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
