Track Conditioning

Track conditioning will begin today, Monday, January 9th in the weight room. Tuesday through Thursday work-outs will be at cone park from 3-4:15pm. Please have an updated physical and parent consent turned in to Coach Barrett.

Girls Tennis Tryouts

Ready for Girls Tennis? Try outs and practice will be held beginning on January 16th from 3:30-5:30pm at Westside Park on courts 5& 6. Practice will continue for the season on Mondays and Wednesdays at this location. All are welcome, but make sure you have submitted your physical forms prior to the 16th.  Forms are due to the front office no later than Friday, Jan.13th.  Please see Mrs. Franklin with any questions.

AP Lit Book Club

Interested in preparing for your AP ELA exams and in discussing literature?  Join AP Lit book club. Meetings begin Thursday 1/12 during lunch in Mrs. Franklin’s room, green 336, and will run weekly throughout the semester. All 11th and 12th grade students are welcome.

Congrats to Middle School Robotics 

Congratulations to our two middle school robotics teams. They traveled to Orange Park today to compete in the Robothrasher Qualifier Tournament, where 16 teams were competing. The Blue Wings team won the Champion’s Award as the top place finisher in the completion. The Super Powered Sharks were the second place team and also won the Robot Design Award and the Robot Performance Award. Both teams qualify to move on the Northeast Florida Regional Championship. Tsunami Warning – Blue Wave vs. Hurricanes 

Warning, Warning, Warning!!! Next Tuesday the 17th @7pm there will be a Tsunami in the gym as the PK Bluewave take on the GHS Hurricanes

Bring floaties, wear life vests, and wear orange, ITS A TSUNAMI WARNING! 

Tri-M

Tri-M Meets in Mrs. Hemmerich’s Room on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. This month it will be on Tuesday, January 17th and 31st during High School Lunch.

Thespians

Thespian Club will meet in Mrs. Hemmerich’s room on Thursday, January 19th  during High School lunch.
