Good morning! Today is Thursday, October 15th.

ATTENTION: Boys soccer!! First Day of Tryouts is Monday, October 19th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the PK Yonge Soccer Field. Tryouts will be 2 days and teams will be finalized Wednesday, October 21st. Students must bring cleats and shin guards, and wear shorts and bring two jerseys: a white and a dark color. Any questions, please email Coach De Leon: jdeleonal1983@gmail.com.  Must have a completed FHSAA form.

There will be an open gym for all interested middle school basketball players this Saturday from 9-11.  Please remember to bring your water bottles and wear a mask.

The Math Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, will meet this Friday, October 16th, at 12:15 during Lunch B in Ms. Roach’s Zoom room. Please contact Ms. Roach with any questions.

Seniors – if you missed this week’s senior seminar on college essays, check out the link for the recorded session in the Senior Canvas course. On Wednesday, Oct. 21st, we will meet again at 10 to write our resumes. Whether you’re applying to colleges or applying for jobs, having a resume is crucial. Check out the announcements section of canvas for the zoom link.

Seniors – we need your help!  Your class gets to decide what the artwork for the new building will look like.  Please take the short survey in the Senior Canvas course by Friday morning to help leave your legacy for years to come. While you’re there, check out the announcement with the senior superlative winners.

Congratulations to Ian Lentz, who placed 3rd at the district golf tournament and Katelyn Huber who won her district tournament this week. Both players advance to the regional semi-final on Monday in Lake Mary, FL.

National Art Honor Society will be meeting today and every Thursday in Mr. Moody’s Zoom class at 2:30. See you there!
