Announcements, Monday 2/4

Today is Monday, February 4th and it is a B Day.

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team for placing second in district and advancing to the regional quarterfinal.  Good luck on Tuesday night against Mount Dora.

High five to the JV Boys Basketball team for their showing this weekend.  They fought back from a 19-point second half deficit, and although they fell three points short of the W, their tenacity made us proud. Cheers to the Freshmen for their victory and to the Varsity Team for a HUGE win in the LAST second of the game. Roll on, Blue Wave!

ATTENTION SENIORS: We will be taking our group photo for the Yearbook TODAY.  SWI will be taking the photo so please make your way to the field immediately after 5th hour for the photo at 12:30. The senior photo will be followed by the lifer group photo; all lifers should stick around after the senior picture has been taken.

Congratulations to Alex Barba for winning the SILVER KEY for his dramatic script with Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards!  Alex received this award out of thousands of high schoolers across the nation. Congratulations, Alex!

Middle School National Junior Honor Society Members – we will have a meeting this Thursday, February 7, in Mrs. Beckett’s room during lunch.  Please come ready to talk about how you are working on our different service projects.
