Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Monday, January 8th and today is a B Day!

When we adjusted the lunch and power hour schedule to make up for some of the class time lost during Hurricane Irma, it inadvertently caused a five-minute overlap of middle school and high school lunch.  Therefore, high school lunch is beginning five minutes before middle school lunch ends.  PLEASE make this transition as kind as possible.  Middle school students, please relinquish the tables when you have finished eating so that the high school students have a place to dine.  High school students, please wait patiently until your tables of choice are vacated.  There is plenty of available seating.  There is no need for unkind or rude exchanges related to lunchtime seating. The expectation is for PKY students to treat each other kindly.

Registration for second semester night school driver education at the Traffic Safety Center is now open. Please call 352-955-6959 to sign up. All pertinent information can found on the Alachua County Public School Website ( ). This is not the course offered during the day time with Coach Johnson here at P. K. Yonge, however P. K. Yonge students can take this course if they would like to. If you have any questions see Coach Johnson.

Attention, Seniors, there will be a special information session about scholarship opportunities during power hour TODAY in the library beginning at 11:45 sharp.
