Today is Monday, November 4th, and it is a B Day.

On Saturday the Girls Cross Country team finished 11th in the Regional race in Lake City.  Riley Blackwelder, Paulina Cervantes, and Anastasja Fernandez-Smith all ran personal bests.  Juliette Palechor finished 14th overall and qualified for the State Championship in Tallahassee next week.  Great season ladies!

Congratulations to our Brain Bee team that shone in Saturday’s Local Brain Bee at UF.  Special recognition goes to Audra Sesco for capturing 2nd place. Participants, remember to gather in Dr. Breil’s room on Thursday at 7:40 for a celebratory bagel breakfast.  Use the back door.

​Congratulations to golfers Jake Davis and Katelyn Huber. Both had best finishes by placing 8th out of 94 participants at the state golf tournament over the weekend.

Congratulations, also, to the Blue Wave Swim and Dive Team last week for placing 3rd in both the boys and girls division at the regional meet last week.  We had many personal bests and many new P.K. records set. The following swimmers will advance to the state championship meet in Stuart on Saturday: Catalina Aguirre, Samantha Belmore, Nick Eunice, Lex Fetko, Laci Herron, Jayden Herron, Brandon Jeong, Trevor McGovern, Tara McGovern, Douglas Poole, Jack Poppell, Joseph Pyon, Gabriella Reeves, Lain Shahboz and Gwen Shahboz.  Way to go Blue Wave!

China Travelers: Your class assignments sheet must be completed and signed by all of your teachers by Thursday, November 7. Please bring the completed sheet to your last meeting before travel on Thursday at lunchtime in Mr. Kovach’s room. If you don’t have a class assignment sheet, or don’t know what this is, please check in with Ms. Henderson, Dr. Cordero, or Mr. Kovach.

Winterguard auditions will be held on Nov 6th and 8th from 3:15-5:45 in the band room.

Attention Blue Wave Middle School, JV, and Varsity Baseball:  Please remember our special gathering tonight in the community classroom. We will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

There is a P7 Bible Club Meeting in Miss Janike’s room, L-352, TOMORROW during High School Lunch.

Did you know that wasps and bats are pollinators too?  Come to the Pollinators Club TODAY during middle school lunch in room H121.  Snacks will be provided. Come help make a difference!
