Announcements, Monday, 11/26

Today is Monday  November 26th and it is an A Day.

All members of Poetry Out Loud please remember that it is mandatory to be at our rehearsal during lunch on Thursday, November 29. Our competition to select our school representative will be on December 6th after school. Please see Mrs. Santiago if you have questions.

The Fall Thespian Showcase will be this Thursday in the P.A.C.
Come out to see your favorite Thespian perform their piece for district Thespian competition! $5 at the door, 7:00 performance

Congratulations to the PK Swim & Dive Teams! I am pleased to share that our 2018 State team had the best showing in PK Swimming and Diving history.  The boys finished in 10th place and the girls finished in 11th place. Just like at Regionals, we were the highest-finishing public school for both boys and girls. And, we have our first State Swimming Champion in Lain Shahboz! The team also broke numerous school records.  Way to go, Blue Wave Swim & Dive!

Attention BSU members – there is a meeting after school in Mr. Miller’s room on Tuesday.  Please come ready to work on the program.

Attention all Middle school Kindness club mural painters:
We will be painting on TODAY.  Meet by K wing at 2:30.

National Junior Honor Society Members – we will meet this FRIDAY in Mrs. Beckett’s room during lunch.  Please bring your lunch and your ideas for our next service project to our meeting this FRIDAY during lunch.

Tomorrow afternoon we will have a pep rally to kick off our winter sports, soccer and basketball. The pep rally will be for both Middle and High School and will run from 1:40-2:15.   PLEASE NOTE: So that you are able to attend all of your B day classes, we will follow the same time schedule that we follow on Wednesdays — please see the website if you can’t remember those times.  Rather than dismissal at 1:40, you will report to the gym for the pep rally. You will be dismissed from the gym. Middle school students will sit on the south side bleachers; high school students will sit on the north side bleachers.
