Good morning! Today is Monday, September 26th. On this day, in 1860 the national flag of Ecuador, which consists of horizontal bands of yellow, blue and red, was first adopted by law.

Girls Cross Country

Congratulations to the girls cross country team who won the Suwannee Invitational on Saturday. Paulina Cervantes came in first, Ellie Cervantes came in second, Mae Dodd came in 5th and Norah Pancoast 9th place.

Varsity Letter Jacket

Attention Varsity athletes, varsity cheerleaders and band members. Are you interested in purchasing a letter jacket? The representative will be here on Monday, September 26th during lunch at the back of N wing. The order form is located online on the athletics website and you must bring the check and form to the fitting to place your order.

Book Club

High schoolers, do you love to read and talk about literature? If yes, come to our first informational Book Club meeting, during lunch this Monday, September 26, 2022, in front of the new building by the art sculptures and learn more about the club. See you on Monday, Mrs. Czyz

Gaming Club

Come join the Gaming Club after school on Mondays in Mr. Lincoln’s room. (Blue 316) We have board games, card games, Magic the Gathering, and several people have expressed interest in playing Dungeons & Dragons.

Future in Medicine Club

The first meeting of the new Future In Medicine Club will be on Tuesday, September 27 during lunch in 330 Green. The club is for any medical enthusiastics , learners or those interested. Anyone can join.

Tardies

Students – starting October 4, if you receive 4 or more tardies in the week, regardless of class period. You will be required to attend after school directed study session on Wednesdays at 1:50pm. It will be a minimum of 20 minutes of directed study time, or 5 minutes per tardy. Disciplinary action will be taken for those failing to attend. Get to class on time or study with Coach Mac on Wednesdays!

Global Awareness Club

Show your support for the Global Awareness Club by wearing an orange shirt this Friday. Why Should You Wear an Orange Shirt? To show allyship with residential school survivors and indigenous people and to spread awareness about residential schools all over Canada and the United States.

Senior Portraits

Today is the day all seniors who still need to have their senior portraits taken will go to the DaVinci Studio between 8:00 and 11:00.  Teachers, you received a list of these students in your email on Friday and this morning. Please remind those students to have their portraits taken.  It is their last chance to have a senior portrait in their senior yearbook.  Picture day for all other students is tomorrow in the PAC at your assigned time.  Teachers will have a paper to display with the assigned times.
