September 27, 2021Good morning! Today is Monday, September 27th
Attention Seniors – Last chance to take your Senior Portraits for the yearbook is on Monday, September 27th! Pictures will be taken on campus during the school day. If you are purchasing these portraits, you must pay the session fee ($25) at the time of the picture, or beforehand online at SWIPHOTO.COM/SENIORS. Girls should bring a tank top to wear under the formal drape, and boys should wear a solid white t-shirt. For any questions, please see Mr. Mathien.
Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized and celebrated in the United States from September 15 to October 15. This year’s theme will be “Celebrating Hispanic-American Community Leaders and Champions”. Student essay contest winners will receive a 4-Year Florida College Plan scholarship provided by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation. For more information visit Florida Hispanic Heritage.com
Congratulations to the girls’ Varsity cross country team who won the Celtic Invitational in Ocala Saturday morning. Top finishers were Paulina Cervantes in 2nd place, Ellie Cervantes in 4th place and Jocelyn Riley in 15th place overall.
It’s Sink or Swim Homecoming week and today’s theme is Meme Monday. Teachers, please allow participating middle and high school students to meet at the tree sculptures 5 minutes before their respective lunches to have their picture taken. PK Faculty and staff will vote for the best costume and the winners will receive a prize
