“There will be a new aspect getting added to advisory. One advisory a month will be focused on mental health. This Wednesday will be our first mental health advisory. On a mental health advisory day, our bell schedule will be different to give us more time for advisory to give space to have these discussions. Advisory 9:05-9:50 (45 minutes)
Second 9:55-10:55 (60 minutes)
Third 11:00 – 12:00 (60 minutes)
Lunch 12:00-12:30
Fourth 12:35-1:35 (60 minutes)
High School
First 8:00-9:00 (60 minutes)
Advisory 9:05-9:50 (45 minutes)
Second 9:55-10:55 (60 minutes)
Third 11:00 – 12:00 (60 minutes)
Fourth 12:05 – 12:35 (30 minutes)
Lunch 12:35 – 1:05(30 minutes)
Fourth 1:10 – 1:35 (25 minutes -totaling 55 minutes)
High schoolers: This is a reminder that you have 3 options to fulfill the PE graduation requirement: Option 1: Taking 1 credit of HOPE;
Option 2: Doing 2 seasons of a JV or varsity sport
Option 3: 1 year of band AND taking personal fitness on FLVS.
If you are doing option 2 or 3, you must turn in a completed PE waiver to the front office in order to fulfill the PE graduation requirement. if you do not turn this waiver in, you will not receive the credit.
SENIORS: If you plan on taking a gap year after graduation, attending a trade school, or doing any other path outside of attending college; and if you are interested in the possibility of being featured in this year’s yearbook, please reach out to Mr. Mathien.
Seniors – you have several upcoming important dates:
Senior Superlatives: Due before Thanksgiving break
Think you know who has the best smile? Who’s the most likely to succeed?
Vote for your choice of seniors for the superlative section in the yearbook in the Senior canvas course announcements page.
Senior Profiles: Due November 17
Seniors! Check your Google account for your Senior Profile page. Please edit this page – don’t create a copy. Dr. Haas-Moskowitz has been working with students on completing profiles. If you have questions or want to see completed profiles, talk to Dr. Haas-Moskowitz.
Senior Quote and Baby Pictures: Due before Winter break
Don’t get left out! Make sure you upload your baby picture and decide on your senior quote before we get out for Winter break. Fill out the form with your info in the Senior canvas course announcements section.
Anyone in need of service hours should go see Coach McDonald. No appointment necessary, just pull up.

High School! Auditions for the spring musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will be TUESDAY NOVEMBER 16th in the Performing Arts Center. Audition signup sheet is on the Spring Musical page on the school website, as well as all other theatre and musical theatre class webpages, along with audition materials. This AWESOME show is famous for Seymour, Audrey, an ensemble cast, and huge MAN EATING PLANTS! Come audition LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS on TUESDAY NOVEMBER 16th!
