Good morning! Today is Monday, October 11th.                                                                                              

Girls Varsity Soccer tryouts will take place on Monday, October 18th and Tuesday, October 19th from 3:00-5:15pm on the Top Field at PKY.  Participants must bring their own water bottle and wear athletic clothing, shin guards and cleats to participate. FHSAA forms must be turned in before the tryouts. All of this info and more details can be found on the PKY website, Athletics page, under Girls Soccer.

High school Science Olympiad will meet on Monday, after school in Mrs. Davis’s Room, room 330. Any student who is interested in joining Science Olympiad is welcome to attend.

 Climate Action Club will meet at a new time this week. Club members and any high school student interested in Climate Action Club should plan to attend our meeting during high school lunch on Wednesday, October 13 by the benches under the oak tree. We hope to see you there!

 The PKY Boys Soccer program will hold tryouts for the JV and Varsity programs on October 18 and October 19, from 6pm to 8pm at the school top field. Final rosters will be announced on social media on Wednesday, October 20 in the morning. Look for pkyboyssoccer in Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Key Club will meet today at high school lunch on the benches next to the large live oak tree.  All members, please plan to attend. Please remember that dues are due by Thursday.

This past Saturday, the PK Yonge Blue Wave Marching Band finished 7th out of 22 bands, winning Best in class Music, Best in class General Effect, Best in class Visual, Best in class Percussion, and Best in class Colorguard. The Blue Wave Marching Band will look to continue their success this Saturday at the Bands of America Orlando Regional Championship at Camping World Stadium. Be sure to congratulate them and wish them luck when you see them!
