January 10, 2022

Good morning! Today is Monday, January 10th.

Hey high schoolers, now’s the time to step up and help your friends and classmates. If there’s a particular subject in school where you excel, contact Coach Mac to learn more about our new peer tutoring program. Peer tutoring is a great way to help your friends do better in school and earn your service hours.

As we return to school, changes continue on our campus.  It’s important to respect our property by cleaning up and being aware.  An example is having our  PK library up and running again!  We’re excited to share the new space with everyone, but please respect the area so we can keep it nice. Do not move around the shelves or the furniture, put your trash in the trash cans – not the shelves – and check your books out at the front desk. If Mrs. Koppitch, or her student aides, aren’t in the library, please come back when they can help you. You can always reach Mrs. Koppitch through the PK Library tab in your canvas courses. Welcome to the library! And thank you to Mrs. Koppitch for transforming this space so beautifully!

Seniors – welcome back!  If you didn’t get a chance to order a senior shirt before winter break, you still have time.  Please fill out the form in the senior canvas course, or scan the QR code on the fliers around school to order yours before Friday!  You may pay with a card in the business office, or with a check to the front office. Either way, make sure you fill out the form so we can get your correct size.

JV and Varsity Baseball Tryouts will be held NEXT MONDAY, January 17th at 1 PM.  You must have a sports physical on file with Coach Barrett in order to try out.  Please see Coach Brunson during lunch if you have any questions.

For anyone interested in playing football for the blue wave, spring football workouts begin today at 2:45 in the weight room. This is open to all current PK students in grades 6 through 11. If you have questions or need more information please attend today’s first session and if you cannot please see Coach Doelling, McDonald or Courtney during the school day

Please pause for a moment of silence: Hang up and start again for the pledge

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Have a wonderful day Blue Wave!
