This week is Celebrate Freedom Week in the state of Florida, and as such, the Florida Department of Education has asked that we conduct an oral recitation of the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence excerpt. By the end of the week, you will probably be able to say it along with me!

That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
Care about climate change and want to do something about it? Join the newly-formed Climate Action Club! We will design and carry out projects to help reduce our individual and school’s emissions, educate ourselves and others about global climate change, and provide a safe space to talk about climate emotions. The Climate Action Club will meet today at 2:40 in Ms. Davis’s Zoom room. This club is open to all high schoolers and we’d love for you to come! Do you love science? Do you love competition? Join the Science Olympiad team! Science Olympiad is a club that allows you to compete against other schools in science events, including biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Any high school student interested in joining the Science Olympiad team is encouraged to check out the club page on the PK Yonge website and fill out an interest form. We will be meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 2:40 in Mrs. Davis’s Zoom Room. We hope to see you there!
