Good morning! Today is Monday, March 7th

Congratulations to JV and Varsity Baseball for their wins over Bradford County High School Friday night.  JV won 9-5 and Varsity fought hard to keep Bradford from scoring, resulting in a 1-0 shut-out.  Thanks to everyone who came out to support the team – the best turnout ever! We appreciate the positive energy and great atmosphere y’all created. Way to go, Blue Wave Baseball!

Congratulations to the FIRST Technical Challenge Team – Steel Eels! They placed 11th in their division and earned the Judges Award at Florida State Championships! Best of luck to our Varsity robotics team, Roaring Riptide, as they travel to Orlando to compete later this week!

Students, please only walk into the traffic lanes to be picked up or dropped off. Going into the pickup traffic to say bye to your bestie is not advised. Please hug your bestie BEFORE they leave the curb.

Anyone that parks on campus must obtain an up to date parking pass by the end of the day Tomorrow. We will begin enforcing parking violation rules on Wednesday morning. You may find the registration forms in the Q building business office or online at PK’s website

The Education Equalizer Foundation has partnered with the Common Black College Application to help students apply to over sixty colleges using one application. Gainesville area high school juniors and seniors are invited to attend an event on Saturday, April 30, from 1p – 3p. The Education Equalizer Foundation has paid all application fees, enabling all attendees to apply to over sixty HBCUs at no cost. The event will help prospective students learn more about Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Students must register at www.educationequalizers.org to attend. The event location is private and limited to thirty students. See Mr. Chambliss for more information.

Seniors – please, please, please check in on the Senior Canvas Course Announcements page. We have tons of information about upcoming events, scholarship opportunities, and links to calendars and newsletters to answer all your senior questions.

Please pause for a moment of silence: Hang up and start again for the pledge

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Have a wonderful day Blue Wave!
