Announcements – Friday, March 22

March 22, 2024

Good morning, Blue Wave. Today is Friday, March 22.

Thanks!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who organized, supported, and participated in the 2024 College and Career Fair. Your enthusiasm, engagement, and dedication made the event a success. We are grateful for your contributions and look forward to making next year’s fair even more impactful.

Women’s History Month

Feminist Club will be highlighting influential women for the rest of March. Ellen Ochoa is an American engineer and the first Hispanic woman to ever go into space. After her expedition, she served as NASA’s director of the Johnson Space Center.

Make sure to stop by Feminist Club’s table at lunch on Tuesday, March 26th or Wednesday, March 27th to purchase a flower gram to be delivered to a woman or girl you love that Friday. All proceeds will go to charity.

Congrats Girls Tennis

Congratulations to the varsity girl’s tennis team on their 5-2 win over Santa Fe last night, which means the team is now 9-2 in the season!

Come out to Westside on Monday 3/25 at 3:30pm to watch the team play Trinity Catholic!

School Day SAT Reminders

Good morning, 10th and 11th Grade students. On Wednesday, March 27th, you will be taking the School Day SAT. Please remember to bring your Chromebook and your Charger. The SAT will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Any students who arrive after testing begins will not be allowed to test, so please be on time on Wednesday. You may bring a snack and water to have during the breaks. You also may bring your own calculator to use during the test. Again, please remember to bring your Chromebook and your Charger. If you have questions, please contact Dr. MacDonald.

Please pause for a moment of silence:

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
