Resiliency Skill
Our Resiliency Skill for the month of January is Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving. By thinking critically, you can better identify the root causes of issues and develop effective solutions. While a student at Morehouse College in 1948, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr wrote an essay titled the “Purpose of Education” and stated, “Education must enable one to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and the facts from the fiction. The function of education, therefore, is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.”
Please pause for a moment of silence.
(SILENCE)
Please stand for the Pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all.
Have a great day, Blue Wave!
