September 28, 2018Today is Friday, September 28th, and it is a B Day.
Sign up for the Blood Drive will continue today and end on Monday October 1st. Anyone who is 16 years old will need a parent permission form to give blood. Everyone giving blood must bring their photo ID this upcoming Tuesday which is the day of the drive. Students can sign up for a timeslot with Caitlyn Feaster or Colby Joiner before, and after school, as well as at lunch. Remember that you must have permission from your teacher before you can leave class. Thanks for donating blood on Tuesday October 2nd!
Blue Wave GSA will meet today during lunch. Middle school GSA will meet in Mr. Bourn’s room. High school GSA will meet in Ms. Andrews’ room.
There will be a high school National Honor Society meeting at the beginning of high school lunch on Monday, October 1st, in Dr. Weller’s room (M350). The deadline for turning in dues is Monday during the meeting.
The Rosa Rabell scholarship application is DUE by October 12, 2018 before 12:00 pm. See Mrs. Santiago for more information.
Registration for the PSAT has begun. The PSAT will be given Wednesday, October 10th at the Reitz Union on UF campus. The PSAT is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship. All sophomores will be given the test free of charge and will not need to register. 11th and 9th grade students may take the test for a fee of $30. Waivers are available for students in need of financial assistance. Sign-up is in the business office. There are limited seats. The deadline is Thursday, October 4th, 2018.
