Chromebooks

Attention Students: Chromebook Reminders
You should all be bringing a charged device to school each day.  Please do not expect teachers to supply a charger for you.
Chromebooks should not be used during lunch.  They should be stored in lockers away from liquids and food.
It is our expectation that cases remain on the Chromebook at all times, especially for identification purposes.

Clubs

Students please stop by Ms. Johnson’s Middle School Art Room N-374 for information on the Spring Art Club Workshops offered to all Middle School Students!
Permission slips are now available and the new workshop begins next Tuesday!

Tell a friend “Happy Valentine’s Day”!  Buy a candy gram today; they’re only a dollar!  Today and Monday are the last days to purchase candy grams, which will be delivered during third period on Tuesday.

The National Junior Honor Society is participating in the annual Campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every nine minutes someone dies from it. Together we can raise some money to help scientists find a cure for this type of cancer.   All you have to do is donate any amount of money to the collection box in your first period class.  If we reach our goal of $1 per every person at the school, the first period class that collects the most money will receive a lunch from Olive Garden!  Thanks for your generosity!

Dance Marathon is hosting a dance in the gym on Saturday February 18th. Tickets will be on sale for $5.00 during Middle school & High school lunch. Facilities

Students: due to repairs to the light poles around the football and baseball fields, the only field access for the outdoor sports complex during or after school is through the gate at the east end of the faculty parking lot.  If you are attending practices or workouts, all parking must be in the student parking lot in front of the gym.  Foot access to the fields is via the road behind the gym to the lacrosse fields. Do not climb the fence to walk through the football field – the area is restricted for safety reasons due to the removal of existing light poles and installation of new ones.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid Night will be held at P.K. Yonge on February 16th from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM in the library. The first half will consist of a presentation from the University of Florida and the second half will be an opportunity for seniors that have not yet completed their FAFSA to get help. If you are a senior and are planning on attending the workshop, please bring your charged Chromebook and any necessary documentation.

Lunch

Students: Just a reminder during lunch, designated areas are between the bridge and K-wing.  Students should not be in any other area unless there is a prearranged meeting with a teacher.
