Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Friday, March 16th and it is a B Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Reminder that any fundraisers must be approved by administration.  If you are selling items on campus without permission, this includes candy, your items may be confiscated.

Dance Marathon is hosting a dance in the gym tomorrow. Tickets will be on sale for $5.00. You can purchase tickets in M-344 or in Mr. Lightbourne’s office during Middle School & High School lunch starting today! The dance will start at 5pm and will be end at 11pm. Chick-fil-a and Dominos will be served. Activities include Zumba, dodgeball, photo booth, various Carnival games, basketball, and a raffle. The dance will feature theme hours including Disney hour, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s hours, and Rave Hour. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to UF Health Shand’s Children’s Hospital.

PK Yonge Health Smart Committee asks for your participation in a simple five-day program aimed at encouraging kids to eat more fruits and vegetables.  Each day of the PACK five-day program is assigned a different color to help children focus on broadening their selection of fruits and vegetables. For more fun, wear something to match the color of the day! Check out the bulletin board outside the cafeteria for more details! PACK week will kick off next week March 19th-23rd.

Are you constantly hungry? Are you always craving sweets? Well look no further! There will be a $2 bake sale to benefit the Humane Society. For the next week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, come to front of the gym between the end of school and 3:30pm to buy cookies, brownies, cake pops, and much more.  Everything is $2 and 100% of the profits will be donated to the Humane Society. Come and join us to help raise money for these special animals!

Attention students, faculty & staff: Tonight is the Basketball Cop Foundation’s 3rd Annual High School Allstar game being held at Buchholz High School.  Come cheer on our own Allstars – Tony Garner and Will Banks – as they attempt to beat the cops for a third straight year.  The cops team is pretty confident this year, so our guys could use your support.
