NJHS Fall Gift Basket Drawing

NJHS is holding a Fall Gift Basket Chance Drawing!  Come check out the baskets at MS lunch… This is a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping for your family, or win it for yourself!  Tickets are $1 each and the winners will receive their basket on Friday during 4th period.

Attention members of the National Honor Society: There will be a meeting for all members this Friday, 11/18, during lunch in the back section of the cafeteria.

Lost & Found

Students, please check the table outside the cafeteria for your missing clothing, water bottles and lunch boxes. These things will be donated to those in need after this week.

November – Native American Heritage Month

During World War II, the United States government enlisted the help of skilled Native Americans, known as code talkers, who used the Navajo language to transmit top-secret information to allied forces. Much of this information was classified until 2002 when congress passed the Code Talkers Recognition Act. Overall, some tribes had as much as 70% participation in the war effort.

Seniors – Important College Application Information: Please make sure you have changed your counselor to Mrs. Christie McElroy in CommonApp. If she isn’t connected to you in CommonApp, she can’t go in and do her part of your application.

MS “Inter-Advisory Games”

PK had the first ever “Inter-Advisory Games” on Wednesday.

After a hard fought 30 minutes, the Orange House ended in 3rd place, the Blue House ended in 2nd, and our first ever winner is the Red House! Congratulations!
