Good morning! Today is Friday, September 2nd 

Tri-M
Tri-M will have its first meeting on Tuesday, Sept 13th during High school lunch at the anchor and will continue to meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

Science Olympiad
Attention students in grades 9-12. If you are interested in joining the PK Science Olympiad Team, there will be an informational meeting on September 8th, directly after school in Third floor Green, room 330. This meeting is for current members and anyone who wishes to join.

Black Student Union
Black Student Union will have an Interest meeting this Friday,  September 2nd in the library after school. If you can’t make it feel free to email pkymtisdale24@pkyonge.ufl.edu 

PK Golf
Congratulations to the PK golf team who defeated Gainesville high 160-235. Ian Lentz led the Bluewave with an even par 35 and Charlie Tumminia had a personal best 43. 

Thespians
Congratulations to the following members of Troupe 4102 who have been elected Thespian Club Officers for 2022-2023 school year:

  • Secretary: Isabel Hansen
  • Vice President: Nichole Lajara
  • President: Lia Subramanian

These officers will be traveling to Clermont FL to help organize the District 12 festival! CONGRATULATIONS!

Hispanic Honor Society
Hispanic Honor Society will be meeting this Friday during lunch, L-356.

NSTEM
Are you interested in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math? Would you like to hear more about joining an honor society that recognizes your achievements, creates future opportunities in your college and/or career? 

Join us for a brand-new club established at PK Yonge this year! We are NSTEM which stands for the National STEM Honor Society. Our club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in Coach Brewster’s classroom – Building N, Room 382. If you’d like to join us, please email Ms. Brewster at labrewster@pky.ufl.edu

At our first meeting on Wednesday, September 7th during lunch, we will go over club requirements, provide student applications, and elect chapter officers.
