Good morning! Today is Friday, October 9th.

Tickets are now on sale for the P.K. Yonge fall play, 10 WAYS TO SURVIVE LIFE IN QUARANTINE!  This hilarious comedy is suitable for all age groups.  Ticket order forms are on our school website. 10 WAYS TO SURVIVE LIFE IN QUARANTINE continues October 9-10th, so get your tickets today! Shows are at 7 PM; there is a 2 PM matinee on the 10th.

ATTENTION: Boys soccer!! First Day of Tryouts is Monday, October 19th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the PK Yonge Soccer Field. Tryouts will be 2 days and teams will be finalized Wednesday, October 21st. Students must bring cleats and shin guards, and wear shorts and bring two jerseys: a white and a dark color. Any questions, please email Coach De Leon: jdeleonal1983@gmail.com.

All students who wish to participate in athletics must have a completed FHSAA physical (2-3 pages) and an FHSAA parent consent form (4 pages). All forms must be submitted to the athletics department before tryouts. No athlete will be allowed in the field without a form.

Congratulations to Ian Lentz who placed third at the Alachua county golf tournament and UF golf course yesterday.

Congratulations to Katelyn Huber who won the jail Dar Alachua county tournament at Haile plantation with a six under par 66.

Good luck to the golf teams next week at districts.

High fives also to the Blue Wave Volleyball Team who won their seventh straight game last night against the Williston Red Devils.  Way to go, Blue Wave!

There will be an open gym for all interested middle school basketball players TOMORROW morning from 9-11.  Please remember to bring your own water to drink and wear a mask.

We will have a girls basketball interest meeting on Monday, October 12th at 7:00PM .Please wear a mask. The meeting is for girls in the 6-12th grade who are interested in playing this year. The meeting will be held in the gym bleachers so we can practice physical distancing.

Blue Wave GSA will meet today at 12:15 (B lunch for those on campus) in Ms. Andrews’ Zoom classroom.  All are welcome!
