Good morning! Today is Friday, September 4th.  Monday is Labor Day, a student and teacher holiday!

Great news from the cafeteria:  Beginning Tuesday, September 8th, all students can receive free breakfast and free lunch from the cafeteria due to a USDA food grant program.  You simply go through the line and pick up your meal — no money, no numbers, no charges. Bon appetit!

Remember, only the east side and outdoor cafeteria lines will be open for service today.

Feeling stressed? Does school already feel overwhelming? September is Self Care Month. Our counselors will be posting information and activities to the Counseling Canvas pages throughout the month. The deadline to register for the October 3rd SAT test is TODAY, Friday, September 4th.

Students will log-on to their CollegeBoard accounts to register. If you have issues accessing your account please call, 1-866-315-6068 for assistance.   Do not create a duplicate account!

Students without CollegeBoard accounts can do the following:

  1. Go to Collegeboard.org
  2. You should see a blue strip that says “College Starts Here”
  3. Below username you will see “Don’t have an account? Sign up”
  4. Click “sign up”
  5. Choose “I’m a student”
  6. Fill out necessary information
  7. Continue to register

Fall baseball starts on Tuesday, September 8th.  Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM.  Students in grades 6 through 12 can participate if they have a current sports physical on file with Coach Barrett.  Bring your own cleats, glove and hat. If you have any questions, see Coach Brunson at lunch.  He will be the one in the baseball hat.

Good luck to the Blue Wave football team as they take on Trenton tonight.  Our team has been working hard to train and prepare while also keeping each other safe, and we are very proud of them.  We are pulling for you, football team  Go Blue Wave!
