April 15, 2022

Good morning! Today is Friday, April 15th.

Do you want to be a member of the National Honor Society? 10th and 11th graders who meet certain GPA requirements are eligible to apply. Please check your Canvas Inbox or Gmail account for an invitation to apply for the NHS. Applications are due on Friday, April 15th. See Ms. Roach with questions.

National Art Honor Society will begin meeting every Thursday during High School lunch in Mr. Moody’s room! We start meeting again this Thursday, April 13th

Students, if you are planning to attend prom, you should also plan to clear any outstanding debts you may have here at school. As you may or may not know, students on the active debt list are not allowed to attend extracurricular activities, prom included. For information about the debt list, you may ask any of your teachers.

Seniors – the time has come! Check out the Senior Canvas Course Announcements page for several important tasks. Want to vote for your class emcee for graduation? Check out the Senior Canvas Course. Interested in going on a class field trip the last week of school? Check out the Senior Canvas Course. Hoping to go to the college you’re planning on? They need final transcripts – which you can find in the Senior Canvas Course. Want to make sure we read your bio at graduation? We won’t be able to unless you fill out the form in – you guessed it – the Senior Canvas Course. For any questions, please see Mrs. Koppitch.

Community Service Opportunity- Any high school student that would be interested in volunteering with Camp Blue Wave this summer please email bluewaveafterschool@gmail.com to start the process.  This is a great way to fulfill your community service requirements and have a fun time enjoying the summer.

Students, beginning today, your opportunity to use the restrooms are as follows. You will not be permitted to enter the restrooms during class changes. Nor will you be allowed to leave the classroom for the first 10 and last 10 minutes of the class period. This is called “DEAD TIME”. If you need access to the restrooms during lunch, please see any adult on lunch duty. Teachers, please ensure that students are leaving your area and the incomers are being received directly into your classroom.

Please pause for a moment of silence: Hang up and start again for the pledge

Please stand for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Have a wonderful day Blue Wave!
