Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball Team for their 10-0 win over Eastside on Wednesday night. Drew Dawson struck out 10 batters and only allowed ONE hit! Way to go, Blue Wave! Come out tonight to see the Blue Wave take on Bronson: JV plays at 4:00 PM and Varsity plays at 7:00.
Track and Field Throwers have practice today from 3:30-5pm at Cone Park.
Seniors- Santa Fe is offering their annual Summer Enrichment Experience from 6/21-7/30. The program is designed to help students acclimate to college and give an opportunity to earn college credit. Students who complete the program may qualify for scholarships, as well. If you are interested in this program, see Mr. Chambliss or Mrs. Koppitch for more information.
Today we will answer a couple more “Because You Asked” questions:
| On the third floor, next to Mrs.Davis’ biology room, there is that little terrace. Can we turn that into a space for eating lunch or for taking a snack break like biscuit break. | This space is actually dedicated to outdoor activities related to the biology class — like a rooftop garden and other cool plant related things. Mrs. Davis gets to decide what to do with the space, so if you have her for Biology, I’m sure she would welcome your suggestions. |
| When are we going to get a pool | Installing a pool is not a part of our overall campus revitalization plan. Fortunately, there are community pools that allow our swim team members to use their facilities. Next up on the campus revitalization plan is a new gym. Plans are already underway to make that happen as soon as possible. |
