One of our 5th Grade traditions is a ceremony where students cross the P.K. bridge, symbolizing their transition from an elementary student to a middle schooler. We will be hosting a LIVE zoom session for this event and the link will be emailed out to 5th grade families and posted in the 4/5 Learning Community Google Classroom on Friday 5/15.


Event: Peek Across the Creek
Date: Wednesday, May 20th 2020
Time: 8:30-9:30am


8:30 AM – 8:55 AM – “Crossing the Creek” Ceremony
Who: 4th graders, 5th graders, and 5th grade families
What: A ceremony honoring each 5th grader, with a special message from the 6th grade teachers

— There will be a brief intermission between 8:55 AM – 9:05 AM (stay in the same zoom link) —


9:05 AM – 9:30 AM – 5th Grade “Memories” Slideshow
Who: 5th graders and 5th grade families
What: A slideshow of 5th graders’ childhood memories and a send-off story from the Treehouse Teachers
