ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The 2017 Thespian Showcase is today at 6:30PM in the Performing Arts Center! Our showcase will feature solos, monologues, duets, trios, and large group numbers, performed by students who will be competing in Florida District 2 Thespian Competition. Admission is $3 at the door. Support your friends in the Thespian Showcase!
Winterguard auditions are today from 3-5pm in the band room. Auditions are open to all middle and high school students.
Madrigal Dinner tickets are on sale now through Friday in Dr. Harris’ room!
$18 for full course meal and the show!
Performance dates are : November 28, 29, and 30, 6:00 PM.
School Counseling:
Attention upperclassmen: The last day to get transcripts before the holiday break is December 12th. Please see Mrs. Flinchum before December 12th if you need a copy of your transcript for college applications.
Power Hour:
The National Junior Honor Society meeting for this week has been cancelled. The next meeting will be after the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 28th. Hope to see all members then!
A couple announcements from the cafeteria:
Tomorrow is the annual Thanksgiving feast and Friday is National Diabetes Day. The cafeteria will be serving one cookie per meal to teach everyone it is okay to have sugar with your meal if you are doing so in moderation.
All students participating in the Global Day need to see Mrs. Santiago, this Friday during Power Hour to talk about the changes in the program and the guidelines.
All students participating in the Poetry Out Loud Contest please see Mrs. Santiago tomorrow during Power Hour.
