Good morning, Blue Wave.  Today is Monday, October 30th and it is a B Day!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to the cast of Dracula! for their awesome performances!

Congratulations also to the Blue Wave Marching Band for earning an Excellent rating this weekend at the Marching Band Performance Assessment Event in Lake City.

Realizing that tomorrow is Halloween, please remember that any costumes you choose to wear should meet dress code requirements, should not include masks, and should not impede your normal school day functions.

Please remember that you are not allowed to have food from outside vendors delivered to campus.  You may NOT check out of school to go buy lunch and then return.  Food from outside vendors may be confiscated and eaten by the administration. True. Story.

ATTENTION SENIORS: yearbook needs your help gathering some important information! Head the PKY announcements page where you will find a link to submit your Senior Quote, Baby Photo, and Senior Superlative Nominations. We will need all submissions completed before fall break. Contact Sydney Stenner with any questions. Thanks for your help!

Team spots are still open for the 16-team, 3-on-3 Waverunner Basketball Tournament. Registration is $7 per person. Five people must be on each team. For those who have already signed up, please see Jerome Reed as soon as possible to pay for entry! For sign-up details, Jerome and Judah Carroll. The tournament will be held on Saturday, November 4th.

School Counseling:

Attention Juniors! Santa Fe College will be hosting Just for Juniors Day on November 2nd, 2017. Students can sign-up to go on this trip using the Google Form. The link for this is posted on the School Website under announcements and on the Student Government Twitter and will be open until 3:30 PM today. If you have any questions, come ask Ms. Bryen.

The November Scholarship Newsletter is available! There are many scholarships for seniors, please visit the PK Yonge website or the School Counseling Twitter to take a look.

A message from Dr. Breil… Middle School Science & Society Club: I am not here today so we will meet tomorrow and through the week during lunch/power hour as you are available so that we can get ready for the carnival.

All National Junior Honor Society members please bring two soda bottles for the carnival booth.  We will meet this Tuesday during power hour to finalize plans for the carnival booth.
