October Resilience Skills

Our Resilience Skills for the month are Citizenship and Mentorship. Mentorship is the act of lending your expertise to others by giving support, guidance, or training. Steven Spielberg, American award-winning film director, began mentoring J.J. Abrams at the age 16 by having him transfer some of Spielberg’s old movies to tape. Spielberg said, “The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image but giving them the opportunity to create themselves.”

Please pause for a moment of silence.

(SILENCE)

Please stand for the Pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all.

Have a great day, Blue Wave!
