Good morning, Blue Wave. Today is Wednesday, October 2nd.

PSAT

Students in grades 9-11, you will be taking the PSAT today. At 9:10, report to your testing location. These locations are posted on the fishbowl windows in 1st  floor green, and both third floor blue and green wings. 

Blood Drive

Our first Blood Drive will be this Thursday, Oct 3. You must be 16 or older to donate. If you are 16 you must have a parent consent. Sign up will be at lunch all this week. Please bring id.

Hispanic Showcase

Mandatory rehearsals for the Hispanic month showcase on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. 

JAM Club

The PKY JAM club will hold a makeup meeting THIS FRIDAY (October 4) from 8:15 – 8:45 in Mrs. Fab’s room.  Hope to see you there!

Pre-Collegiate Club

The Pre-Collegiate Club will hold its first meeting for current members and prospective members on Thursday, October 3rd in the first floor commons during lunch at 1:40 PM.  This club is open to juniors and seniors who are interested in learning more about transitioning to college.  Come to the meeting on October 3rd to hear about our first college visit.

National Custodians Day

Today is National Custodian’s Day!  We have a beautiful campus in large part because of the hard work of our Building Services Team.  Cleaning up behind 1,400 students and 120 staff members  is a huge job! If you see one of our Building Services Team members today, thank them for all they do to take care of the Blue Wave Family and our campus.
