P.K. Yonge Welcomes Chancie Vice to the Blue Wave Volleyball Coaching Staff

P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School has hired Chancie Vice to join the coaching staff for volleyball. Coach Vice will bring a proven record of winning and player development to the Blue Wave volleyball program. 

“P.K. Yonge considers ourselves especially fortunate to secure the talents of Coach Vice to lead our volleyball program. Her record of success in building a successful program and developing student-athletes speaks for itself. We’re  thrilled to have Coach Vice at the Blue Wave volleyball helm,” said Brian K. Marchman, P.K. Yonge director and superintendent.

Vice is well known as a high school volleyball coach in north central Florida. In 2023-2024, she was recognized as the Gainesville Sun and Prep Zone Coach of the Year. She will join P.K. Yonge from Gainesville High School where she coached the team to four playoff appearances. Coach Vice is a graduate of St. Thomas University in Miami where she started as a middle blocker for three years.

I look forward to developing our players skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship as we build a successful volleyball program.”

Vice begins her volleyball coach duties immediately.
