Good morning! Today is Wednesday, December 7th. Today’s Computer Science Fun Fact: “There are around 700 separate programming languages. Some of the most popular languages are Javascript, Swift, Python, PHP, Ruby, and C#. FORTAN was the first computer programming language and is still used today”

CS Week Hour of Code 

To celebrate Computer Science Education week, all of PK Yonge will complete a “Hour of Code” activity. This is an introduction to computer science The Hour of Code is a fun introduction to computer science. Computer science is changing every industry on the planet. Every 21st-century student should have the opportunity to learn how to create and code technology. Have fun doing this activity during Advisory today!

Track & Field Interest Meeting

Interested in track & field? There will be an interest meeting on Wednesday, December 7th right after school at the cafeteria.  All interested athletes should come to meet our new track coach.

MS Baseball Tryouts

Middle School Baseball Tryouts will be Tuesday, December 13 from 3-5:30. See Coach Brunson for more info.

Seniors – Check Canvas

Seniors – it is VERY important that you check your senior canvas course for information about next week’s senior project presentation!

Student-Faculty Basketball Game

The annual Student-Faculty Basketball Game will take place on Friday, December 9 during the second part of fourth period. High schoolers can buy tickets at high school lunch starting today, and middle school students at lunch starting Monday. Tickets are $3 or a donation of three cans of food.

Zuriel Reed Signing

Join us in celebrating Zuriel Reed as she announces which University she will run track for as a college athlete. You are all invited to attend this Friday December 9th at 3:15pm in the gym. Stack the K for Zuriel!
