Kindergarten First Week of School

Kindergarten Families — At the beginning of the year, our kindergarten students will have a staggered start schedule.  We create this plan so your child is able to have an easier transition into elementary school with a smaller group of students and more personalized attention on the first day.

Staggered start involves dividing the students into two groups, Group A and Group B.
Families will receive group assignments in the mail by Friday, July 30.

 

Kindergarten First Week Schedule

Monday, Aug. 9, 11:00am-12:00pm (Kindergarten) 12:00-1:00pm (1st-5th Grade)| Blue Wave Preview
Tuesday, Aug. 10, 8:30am – 2:30pm | Day 1 Group A Only
Wednesday, Aug. 11, 8:30am – 12:00pm | Assessment Make-Up*
Thursday, Aug. 12, 8:30am – 2:30am | Day 1 Group B Only
Friday, Aug. 13, 8:00am – 2:30pm | Day 2 Group A + Group B

 

*Students attending the Assessment Make-Up day will be contacted individually by a member of the kindergarten team. Students in Group A and Group B do not come to campus on Wednesday, August 11.
