Mario is passionate about the teaching and learning of mathematics and technology. He wants to help students reach their highest potential in these subject areas. Mario taught secondary mathematics at J.P. Taravella High School for three years. He worked at Florida Atlantic University as a Graduate Research Assistant, Course Migration Coordinator, Research Specialist, and Adjunct Mathematics Instructor. He also served as Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at Miami Dade College and Broward College for over fifteen years. He co-authored several published articles and presented at various regional and international conferences. His research interests include academic service learning, distance learning, and the use of technology to increase students’ success, especially in mathematics.

Mario loves spending time with his family and enjoys traveling with his wife as well as going to the movies.
