Description: The spruce pine, really a pine tree, not a spruce, is native to the Southeastern United States. Regarded as an excellent ornamental for its full canopy and graceful, twisting form, its lower branches also provide a source of shade. The numerous branches make the spruce pine great for windbreaks as well.
