Special Note: Completion of two credits in the same World Language are required for State University Admissions and the Bright Futures Scholarship.
Sequence for World Languages: Spanish prerequisite for native speakers: A placement test will be administered to determine the appropriate course level, (i.e. Spanish 1 versus Spanish 2, etc.) Upon successful completion, native speakers who place into a language course beyond Spanish 1 will receive a designation on their record indicating proficiency in two years of World Language.
Spanish 1 builds foundational language skills through essential vocabulary, grammar, and communication practice while exploring daily life topics and the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.

Creative Writing
