The Blue Wave softball team is known for its rich history of softball. 1934- Introduced diamond ball for girls, 1954- first mention of softball team, 1978- “Varsity” softball introduced at P.K. Yonge.

The Blue Wave softball team has produced notable collegiate and all-state athletes. The program was highlighted by state runs in the early 2000’s.
