The Blue Wave girls basketball team has produced notable collegiate and all-state athletes. The Blue Wave girls basketball team is coached by Jazzmin Bethea.
1937- Girls Basketball begins at P.K. Yonge
1944- “Gatorettes” Girls Basketball- interscholastic competitions.
1980- State Runner-up, Sectional Champions, Regional Champions, District Champions, Suwanee Conference Champions
