Greetings 6th Grade Students and Families,
We are excited to welcome the Class of 2033! Here is some important information before we start the school year. Stay up-to-date with current family info at https://pkyonge.ufl.edu/my-pk/.
Student Orientation | Friday, August 7th | 8:00 am-Noon | 6th Street Entrance
6th Grade Students are invited to join us for a 6th grade orientation! The 6th grade team will meet them for a fun morning of getting ready for the first day of school. The orientation is optional, but helps to prepare 6th graders for the transitioning to middle school and the first day of school.
- Register: Please register if the student is able to join us.
- Wish List: Click on our WISH LIST if you want to help with supplies for Orientation.
- School Supplies: See the 6th Grade School Supply List.
- Drop Off: Parents can drop off their 6th grader at the 6th Street entrance. Students will proceed to the cafeteria to sign-in and be grouped into their advisory.
- Pick Up: Parents can pick up their student at either the front of the school if attending the parent orientation or 6th Street entrance if being picked up. Please make sure your student knows where to be picked up. The 6th grade team will bring the 6th graders to the front of the school to meet their parents or to the 6th Street entrance for those being picked up.
- Parents will NOT attend the student orientation.
- Parking: The PK Performing Arts Center is located at the 1080 SW 11th Street entrance. Parking is available in the north lot closest to Depot Ave and 11th Street.
