9th Grade Orientation

Student Orientation | Wednesday , August 6 | 8:45 am-11:00 am | Secondary Commons The Secondary Commons is located on the 1st floor of the secondary building. Students will:

- Meet the PK high school administration, 9th grade teachers, and school counselors
- Learn about graduation requirements and how to set meaningful goals
- Explore college and career opportunities with UF’s Career Connections Center and Santa Fe College
- Discuss what it means to be part of our Blue Wave community—inside and outside the classroom

Parent Orientation | Wednesday , August 6 | 9:00 am-11:00 am | PK Performing Arts Center (PAC) This is a chance to hear from our high school leadership team, including Dr. Ashley Pennypacker Hill, Secondary Principal, and Dr. Tredina Sheppard, Assistant Principal for Academic Achievement. They will share important information about what to expect in high school, how our program works, and how you can support your student as they make this exciting transition. In addition to hearing about the high school program, we will also have tables with the school nurse, cafeteria, ESE department, and PTO.
