• Go Week is HERE! This year’s Go Week aligns with the A-Z countdown. Make sure you dress up and show your school spirit.
• Monday, April 28th is Versus Day: Teachers vs. Students – Teachers dress as students, and students dress as teachers.
• Tuesday, April 29th is Unusual Backpack Day: Bring anything but a backpack to school.
• Wednesday, April 30th is T day – dress as something starting with the letter T.
• Thursday, May 1st is Senioritis Day: Wear your PJs to school.
• Friday, May 2nd is Rep Your Future Day: Enroll, Enlist, Employ – Dress as your future plans.

Prom Voting Juniors and Seniors – prom court ballots are open! Look for the link in your canvas email. And don’t forget to buy your prom tickets before the price goes up! Steel Eels Are you interested in building robots? Do you want to learn to program a robot? Do you want to know more about participating in the Steel Eels robotics team for 2025-26 season? There will be an interest meeting April 29th for all 7th graders through high school students in Dr. Bolejack’s classroom, Blue  311 from 4pm-5pm. You will not want to miss this exciting opportunity. See you there! Chicago!  Come see P.K. Yonge VDA Thespians perform in Chicago Teen Edition Thursday- Sunday. Evening shows are at 6:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2pm. Find a poster and scan a QR code for tickets! OM Spirit Night Are you willing to Show your school spirit?  Please help our Odyssey of the Mind Teams get to worlds. We will be holding  a OM Spirit Fundraiser on Friday April 25th From 5:00pm to 9:00pm at PDQ’s.  All you have to do is tell the Team Member that you are there for he OM Fundraiser and a portion goes to help our teams get to Worlds. 90 Years of PK We are celebrating the 90th birthday of P.K. Yonge!  There will be some special activities this week, including daily trivia provided by Mr. Locke. We hope you enjoy learning more about your school!

Z to A Countdown The elementary school has a tradition in which they do a Z to A countdown for the last 26 days of school.  Middle and High school students are welcome to participate if you want to get in on the fun. Today is X day and Friday is W day – wear white.   Pre-Collegiate Club Attention pre-collegiate members:  Save the date. We will meet on Friday, May 2nd during lunch for our last meeting of the year to distribute cords and announce next year‘s officers. Senior Reminders Seniors – the time has come to plan for Senior Week events. Please fill out the forms sent to you in Canvas by May 1st. These include: Senior Graduation Contract - words to be read at graduation Senior Exit Surveys - must be completed to receive your Cap & Gown Vote for Graduation EMCEE. Water Day and Senior Sunset sign up. Senior Slide Show - Upload your pictures from any events, K-12. This will play at the end of the senior awards on May 19th. Clear all debts - must be cleared to receive your diploma. Remember, your chromebooks will be returned on Wednesday, May 21st.
