Congratulations to Jay Morant, P.K. Yonge Student Body Secretary, who was selected as one of four students from North Central Florida high schools to participate in the Clay Electric Co-op 2026 Washington, D.C. Youth Tour, becoming the first student from P.K. Yonge to earn this honor.
Jay recently completed the Clay Electric State Youth Tour experience in Tallahassee, where participants toured the Capitol, met with lawmakers, and engaged in leadership activities. This June, he will travel to Washington, D.C. to join student leaders from across the country for the national Youth Tour—an experience that includes visits to monuments, museums, legislative buildings, and historic landmarks, along with opportunities to meet elected representatives and learn firsthand about the legislative process.
Established in 1966, the Clay Electric Youth Tour has provided generations of students with meaningful civic leadership experiences.
