Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Thursday, March 5, 2026.  Congrats Baseball Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Baseball teams for their home wins over Hawthorne. Varsity plays St. Francis at home this Friday night and we need a big, loud crowd. See you there!  Congrats MS Baseball Big win for Storm Surge Orange last night as they defeated Santa Fe 14–5. The offense was on fire with Jackson, Jack, Ben, Joshua, and Noah all recording multi-hit games, including Joshua’s exciting inside-the-park home run. Jack and Garrett combined for the win on the mound, and the team was aggressive on the basepaths with an incredible 21 stolen bases. We’d also like to invite all P.K. Yonge students and teachers to join us Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at Bobby Hawkins Field as the Blue Wave varsity baseball team takes on St. Francis. It’s Middle School Night, and all three Storm Surge teams will be recognized before the game. Come out and support Blue Wave baseball.  Flower Grams Happy Women’s History Month! The PK Feminist Club will be selling flower grams at high school lunch from Wednesday 3/4 through Tuesday 3/10. Flower grams are $3 each, and will be distributed during 4th period on Wednesday and Thursday before Spring Break. All proceeds will donated to Peaceful Paths.  Pickleball Tournament Hey Blue Wave! Student government is hosting our annual Pickleball tournament on Saturday March 28th from 11am to 2pm at Trinity United Methodist Church. Sign ups are available on Hometown ticketing (scan the QR codes on the flyers around school for the link). It's $40 dollars for a team to sign up and winning teams will receive prizes! Mark your calendars, prom will be Saturday, May 2nd from 7 to 11pm at the Reitz Union Ballroom. Check out Student Government’s instagram page for the theme and more information to come! Literary Magazine Interested in being featured in the first edition of PK’s secondary Literary Magazine? Look for the blue flyers around campus and scan the QR code to submit a piece of original writing or visual artwork. Accepting submissions through spring break. We look forward to seeing the talent and individuality that the PK community has to share!  Test Prep Our next SAT/ACT Test Prep sessions will take place this Saturday, March 7th. If you are registered, please report to the Commons in the Secondary Building when you arrive at 9am or 11:30am. You will sign in and receive your session location on the 2nd Floor, orange wing, from Dr. Geiger.  If you are a 9th–12th-grade student who has not signed up yet, it’s not too late. Be sure to scan the QR code today to register and take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen your test-taking skills.  Make sure to bring your chromebook! Stay Wavy, Blue Wave!
