All Blue Wave student-athletes experience the P.K. Difference. The Blue Wave boys basketball team is known for its rich history.

The Blue Wave boys basketball team has produced notable collegiate and all-state athletes. The Blue Wave boys basketball team is coached by Willie Powers III.

1937- Boys Basketball begins at P.K. Yonge

1944- Baby Gators Basketball- interscholastic competitions

1946- “Ace” Hamilton- All District Team, Hamilton -Honorable Mention All-State Team

1951- District Champions

1952- Jimmy Dell and Buddy Edge- All-State, All-EFC, All-District,  Team District Championship, Team EFC Championship

1991- FHSAA 2A State Champions
