The Blue Wave baseball team has produced notable collegiate, Major League Baseball players and all-state athletes. Hall of Fame Athlete Ryne Malone(2002)  5 time all state selection, Florida state record for most career hits (265), and national record holder for highest on base percentage (.713), 2002 Class 2A player of the Year. The program is highlighted by back-to-back final four appearances in 2001 and 2002.  The Blue Wave varsity baseball team is led by Head Coach Robert Brunson.
