Previews & Orientations, Class Assignments, and Schedules

We’re looking forward to a great year.  Elementary Class Assignments

• Kindergarten assignments were mailed by USPS on July 10. 
• 1st-5th Grade assignments were mailed by USPS on July 24.

Secondary Class Schedules  Schedules will be available on Skyward through parent access. On the first day of school, students can find their 1st period locations at the cafeteria and their 1st period teacher will provide a printed schedule to each student. Schedule change requests will ONLY be completed through the: 

• Middle School Schedule Change Request Form
• High School Schedule Change Request Form

All forms must be submitted by the end of day Wednesday, August 13, 2025.  IMPORTANT NOTE: Schedule changes will be processed if request and approvals are received by the deadlines AND if course changes are available.   Upcoming Dates: 9th Grade Orientation  | Wednesday, August 6 | Students 8:45-11:00 am | Parents 9:00-11:00 am 9th Grade Students and families are invited to join the high school administration, school counselors, and 9th grade teachers for 9th Grade Orientation. Check your email for more detailed information. Please register if the student is able to join us.  6th Grade Orientation  | Friday, August 8 | Students 8:00 am-Noon | Parents 10:30 am-Noon   6th Grade Students and families are invited to join us for a 6th grade orientation! More detailed information can be found in your email. Register: Please register if the student is able to join us.  Elementary Previews & 6th Grade Orientation  | Friday, August 8  Join us for Blue Wave Preview. Bring:

• School supplies
• Medications with forms
• Cash/credit to buy Blue Wave spirit items from the PTO pop-up 
• Cash/Venmo for Jeremiah’s Italian Ice (4th/5th Grade fundraiser) 

Kindergarten Preview  | Friday, August 8 | 11:00 am-Noon  Kindergarteners and families are invited to visit the elementary building and classrooms for an hour on Friday, August 8. This is an earlier time than the other Previews to allow more dedicated time for our youngest and newest students of Blue Wave.  1st-5th Grade Preview  | Friday, August 8 | Noon-1:00pm Students and families are invited to visit the elementary building and classrooms for an hour on Friday, August 8.  PreK Preview  | Wednesday, August 13  Students and families are invited to visit the PreK classroom during an individually scheduled time. More information will be sent to PreK families soon.  Senior Night | Thursday, August 28 | 5:30-7:00pm  Seniors and families are invited to Senior Night to discuss college and career academic planning.  K-7th Grade Blue Wave Open House | Wednesday, September 3 | 5:30-7:00pm  During K-7 Blue Wave Open House, families have the opportunity to meet teachers and learn more about their students’ classes and available extracurricular opportunities. 8th-12th Grade Blue Wave Open House | Thursday, September 4 | 5:30-7:00pm  During 8-12 Blue Wave Open House, families have the opportunity to meet teachers and learn more about their students’ classes and available extracurricular opportunities.
