Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Tuesday, February 24, 2026
Black History Month Fact
Hey Blue Wave here is your black history fact from the Black Student Union. Simone Manuel, in the 2016 summer olympics became the first black female to win a gold medal in an individual swimming event.
Congrats Softball
Congratulations to the JV Softball for their 16-1 win over Crescent City last night.
Congrats MS Baseball
All three middle school teams were back in action last night on a VERY cold evening at Diamond Sports Park.
Storm Surge White and Storm Surge Blue battled hard but came up just short in tough games. They showed great teamwork and resilience and will be ready to bounce back next week.
Storm Surge Orange earned a 13–7 victory over Kanapaha behind a dominant pitching performance from Jackson and outstanding work behind the plate from Gunnar. Noah added two RBIs to help power the offense.
And the real stars of the night were the dozens and dozens of fans who braved the cold to cheer us on well into the evening. We are incredibly thankful for our baseball community. Players, remember, no one does it alone, and as middle school athletes, you rely on the support of your families and our baseball community. Show an attitude of gratitude. Our families were the true MVPs last night!
