Good afternoon, Blue Wave. Today is Thursday, February 12, 2026 BSU Black History Fact Hey Blue Wave! Here is your Black History Fact from the Black Student Union. Cathay “Cuffe” Williams became the first Black female to join the Army at 17 years old. She cut her hair short and used the name “William Cathay” to join the 38th U.S. Infantry Regiment. Congrats Baseball Congrats to Varsity Baseball for their opening 10-4 win last night against Lake Weir! Way to go Blue Wave SGA Representative Interviews  Attention students! Student body officers and senators for next year were announced Tuesday! If you ran for an office and did not win, but you still want to be a part of our 2026 - 2027 student government, find Ms Koppitch to sign up for a representative interview! Senior Ads for Yearbook Seniors - this is your last week to buy a Senior Ad for the Yearbook!  FCA Hey PK! Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet this Wednesday, February 18th, from 7:30 to 8:20 in the morning, before school in the cafeteria. Bring your friends and we hope to see you there! Literary Magazine Interested in being featured in the first edition of PK’s secondary Literary Magazine? Look for the blue flyers around campus and scan the QR code to submit a piece of original writing or visual artwork. Accepting submissions through spring break. We look forward to seeing the talent and individuality that the PK community has to share!  Spring Market Heads up PK! The Spring market is quickly approaching! At Spring Market, we’ll have some volunteer organizations to promote volunteer participation for rising high-schoolers! Remember to tell your club sponsors to sign up soon by February 28, as the Spring Market will take place on March 4 from 7:40-8:25 AM. Grad Bash Attention Seniors: This is the LAST WEEK to purchase your Grad Bash tickets. Seniors can pick up necessary documents from the main office.
