Good morning, Blue Wave. Today is Tuesday, February 18th
Congrats Girls Soccer
Congrats to girls soccer for the win Friday night against Maclay. Come out and cheer them on Wednesday at 7 for the regional finals. Food trucks will be there also!
Baseball
Baseball’s first home game will be Thursday evening at 7 against Lake Weir.
Resiliency Skill
The resilience skills of the month of February are Responsibility & Responsible Decision-Making. Responsibility is all about owning your actions, using good judgment, and practicing self-control. Responsible decision-making is thinking about all options and possible outcomes to make the best choice. Colin Powell was the first African American US Secretary of State serving from 2001-2005 and is quoted as saying “Responsibility is accepting that you are the cause and the solution of the matter.”
Thespians
All those going to the STATE Thespian Festival next month should report to Mrs. Hemmerich's room on Wednesday, February 19th at 8:30am.
Girls Tennis
Good luck to the varsity girl’s tennis team at their home match against Buchholz today at Westside at 4 pm.
Please pause for a moment of silence.
(SILENCE)
Please stand for the Pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and Justice for all.
Have a great day, Blue Wave!
